Crown Care

The best home for your crown is in the Eve Roberts Care Box that your crown came in. This will keep your crown away from dust, moisture, direct sunlight and air pollution. By all means, keep your crown away from direct hair spray! Hair spray can cause some flaws to your beautiful headpiece eg. tarnish, dullness. If hair spray has come in contact with your crown, wipe it away immediately. And if you feel that your crown is needing a little polish up, the grey polishing cloth provided can be used at any time. Handle your crown like it's fragile porcelain. Do not drop it as this may cause some damage to your crown eg. Stone falling out or unwanted dents being created.

Crown Placement Suggestions

Our crowns have some slight flexibility in them so you may, very carefully and slowly, bend in the ends of your crowns so the ends can sit a little closer to the contour of your head if it is needed. There are 2 loops available on all crowns. This helps secure your crown into place by weaving thin pins or bobby pins through them and into your hair. Your hairdresser should then use sections of your hair to cover the loops and pins. If and where possible, more thin pins (same colour as your crown) can be looped in some areas along the crown frame to make it more secure on your head. Normally most hairdressers know how to work their magic for securing headpieces into place.

Alterations

Bridal dresses/gowns can be complex garments. Many aspects contribute to the make and sizing of bridal wear and one may notice that when it comes to sizing especially, it can vary when trying on. So with that been said, keep in mind that most bridal wear will need some form of alteration, even after custom sizing in some cases. Please note that we do not provide alteration services unfortunately but there are many business that do and are amazing at what they do.

Location of Fitting

As mentioned in our "About Us" section, Eve Roberts Bridal is a family owned business located in Brisbane. Currently we operate from a charming Home Studio. Due to this, we have the flexibility to not only cater for normal trading hours, we can also cater for customers who are only available after hours with 6pm being the latest appointment that can be booked. If 6pm is still not possible for you as we understand that some finish work at 6pm, do send us an email via "Question? Contact Us" in the main menu. Let us know that you would like to book in an appointment a little after 6pm and we will see what we can do and try our absolute best to cater to your availability. We are here to help!

Custom Sizing

We have custom sizing available for our Opulence Collection, Divine Collection and for selected pieces from our Lovely Collection. The measurements for bust, waist, hips, hollow-to-floor and head-to-floor will be needed to create your chosen gown. Each item has a full description of what is on offer. Our production teams are absolutely amazing at what they do and work at the highest level of their ability. With that been said, please keep in mind that our production team hand make all garments and so there may be some slight variations in pieces due to the very nature of it being handmade. By placing your order, you understand and are aware of this information.
